GEDA along with other organizations has been feeding residents and first responders in Lafitte area for over almost 3 weeks now. We have surpassed the 5000 meal mark. We will continue these efforts to reach those in need.
Organizations involved: Rotary Club of the Westbank, Optimist Club of the Westbank, Knights of Columbus #1905, Gretna Historical Society, German-American Cultural Center, Italian-American Society of Jefferson, Kiwanis Club, Dawnbusters, Marrero Lions Club and many more individuals.
We also thank all the vendors and donations that have helped make this a success.
